A barista in the corner for part of the day — eight to four, for example. Self-service machine, beans and a kettle for every hour after that.
Power
Outlets everywhere. Under every table, beside every sofa, along the walls. You should never be hunting for one.

Fast, boring, and it stays up. The kind you stop thinking about ten seconds after you connect.

03The day
Staffed for part of the day. Open for twenty-four.
A barista for a stretch of the day — eight to four, for example. Those hours are not a promise yet, only a picture of the idea: staffed coffee while the room is busy, self-service when it is not. The machine, the grinder and the kettle stay yours. Your door code is indifferent to the hour.

Not a desk rental. A door code.
Nobody joins this after working out the per-hour value of a chair. You join because you want somewhere to go at eleven at night, and twenty-five euros is roughly what you would otherwise spend on two coffees you drank alone.

Once a month, the room does something
Demo night
Five minutes each, no slides required, working software strongly preferred.
Ship party
Everyone brings the thing they have been sitting on and puts it live before they go home.
Someone who knows something
A builder who has done the hard version of what you are attempting, talking for half an hour.

06Who pays for it
Three legs, one room
Built in Baltics owns and runs BiB Café. Sponsors, members and a property partner each carry a share of the cost, which is what lets it stay cheap enough to be obvious and independent enough to stay good.

Companies who want to be in the room
Sponsorship keeps the lights on and the coffee free of a markup. In return you are present where Baltic builders actually spend their nights — your name on the wall, your team hosting an evening, a standing reason for founders to associate you with the work rather than the ad.

02Members
€25 a month from people who use it
Membership is not the profit centre and it is not meant to be. It covers consumables and proves the thing is wanted — a room that a few hundred people each pay a small amount to keep open is a room that deserves to stay open.
Founding members join before the doors open.

The honest answers
Where is it?
Tallinn. The exact address is not signed yet — finding the right space is part of what this page is for. If you own or manage somewhere that fits, use the form on this page.
When does it open?
When there are enough founding members and a space to put them in. We would rather open one real room late than promise a date we cannot hold.
Do I need to book a seat?
No. There is no booking system and there will not be one. You turn up and sit where there is room, like a café — because it is one.
The room opens when
enough of us want it
No venue is signed and no date is promised. What exists right now is a plan, a price, and a list of people who said they would come. Put yourself on it.
