About Profflow
Profflow shows European Shopify store owners their real profit — what's actually left after ads, returns, payment fees and VAT. Most store owners look at revenue and guess at the rest. We turn their raw Shopify orders into a number they can trust, in under two minutes.
The product is live, the first founding customers are coming in, and the company is still one person: the founder, in Tallinn. That's the honest starting point — and the reason this role exists.
The role
We're looking for a COO who will stand next to the founder as the second pillar of Profflow. Not an assistant, not a task executor — someone who takes whole areas of the business and owns them end to end: growing what works, fixing what doesn't, and building what doesn't exist yet.
Three words describe the job: grow, improve, create.
What you'll own
Growth — how Profflow reaches EU Shopify store owners: channels, partnerships, pricing, conversion.
Improvement — turning customer feedback into a clear, prioritised roadmap, and making sure it actually ships.
Creation — building the parts of the company that don't exist yet: processes, onboarding, support, hiring.
Operations — running the day-to-day so the founder can stay on product and customers.
Customers — talking to merchants yourself. The first hundred should know you by name.
Team — hiring and leading the first people as we grow.
What we're looking for
Russian and English — both are working languages here.
You've run operations, growth or a company before, and can show what came out of it.
Owner mindset: you take a problem and close it, without waiting to be assigned tasks.
Comfortable at the early stage — no processes, no big budget, a lot of open questions.
You understand e-commerce basics: margins, ad spend, why profit ≠ revenue.
Bonus: SaaS or Shopify experience, a network in the EU e-commerce world, an extra EU language.
Terms
This is a foundational role, not a job with a fixed checklist. Compensation, equity and working format are agreed individually, based on what you bring and how deep you go in. Remote across the EU, or Tallinn if you'd rather work in person.
