HireMe is a two-sided staffing marketplace built in Estonia. We match young people aged 15–25 who want flexible work with hospitality, retail, event and logistics businesses that need reliable staff on short notice.
Our web app is live, we have passed 500 registered users, and our iOS and Android apps launch in the coming days as we push toward growth and new markets.
Our founding developer built and shipped v1. We are now looking for the person who takes full responsibility for the platform and grows it from here — the most senior technical person in the company, working directly with the founder on what gets built and when.
This is mainly an equity-based partner role (We also include a retainer). Main compensation would be a stake in the company rather than a market salary at this stage, so we are looking for someone who is in it for the long run. Tallinn-based.
What you would be responsible for
• The React Native / Expo apps on iOS and Android
• The backend API and PostgreSQL database (currently on Railway)
• The Stripe payment layer
• Security, App Store and Google Play releases, infrastructure monitoring, and the technical roadmap
What we are looking for
• Experience shipping React Native apps to both the App Store and Google Play
• Solid backend skills — Node.js, PostgreSQL — and Stripe running in production
• Comfortable handling infrastructure, deployment and releases without a DevOps team behind you
• Someone who works independently and can take a feature from idea to live without being managed
• Someone who wants to build this into something lasting, not take a short-term gig
