Keegi is Estonian for someone, from ma tean kedagi, I know someone.
You ask in your own words. You get a person back. “Who worked on PAY-2214?” returns Anna Kask, Payments: closed PAY-2214 and the three follow-up tickets on the same retry bug in March.
Then a drafted message you edit and send. Same question without a ticket: “Who has dealt with a works council on a software rollout?” Up to three people, each with one line about what they did.
The sentence is the whole product. Nobody sends a cold message to a name on a list. Knowing that Anna closed the retry bug is what makes someone hit send.
Profiles come from the work itself. Tickets they closed, documents they wrote, threads they answered. Nobody fills in a skills form.
It refuses. When nobody fits, Keegi says so and names the kind of person the company is missing. A third name nobody can vouch for wastes an afternoon and teaches people to stop asking.
Evidence comes from tools people use: Jira, Linear, Google Drive, Notion, Confluence, GitHub, Slack, and the HRIS for who’s reachable. The admin switches sources on one at a time. Everything is off on day one. HR, legal, comp and anything sensitive stay out. A private doc can tell Keegi someone has done the work without ever showing you the document. You only see a citation you already had access to.
No productivity scores. Every person can see their own profile, see who asked about them, and take anything off it.
